The man yells, “Give me a reason not to!” and Miss Simmons starts to cry and says, “I can’t.”

The man enters the building, and he goes to the front desk where Miss Simmons sits, her mask on, her gaze holding a middle distance, and the man pulls out a gun and points it at Miss Simmons who sees nothing just like she’s seen nothing for forty years because her whole world exists inside a screen of never-ending spreadsheets, but the man does not know this, and he yells, “Give me a reason not to!” and Miss Simmons starts to cry and says, “I can’t.”
